


| Hotel Manager |
| Experience is essential for this role and very high quality management and interpersonal skills are expected. We would expect the successful applicant to have extensive hotel expeience and preferably be a fluent french speaker. A minimum level of spoken french is essential. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day running of the hotel, and oversee the running of the kitchen and bar. You will be expected to deal with all guest problems and enquiries and keep a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also retain full overall control for all aspects of the hotel, bar and kitchen budget, stock, ordering, quality control etc. Inexperienced candidates need not apply! |
| Hotel Chef |
| Experience is essential for this role and very high quality cuisine skills are expected.
We would expect the successful applicant to have a professional cooking qualification and be comfortable and
experienced in catering for 40 people at each sitting. You will be responsible for the day to day running of
the hotel kitchen, menu pricing, ordering and quality control, and budget control of the kitchen. You will be
expected to oversee and assist with the cleaning of the kitchen. Please note: that following your first interview, if successful, you would be invited to return to demonstrate your cooking skills. |
| Sous Chef |
| Experience is essential for this role and very high quality cuisine skills are expected.
We would expect the successful applicant to have a professional cooking qualification and be comfortable with
catering for large numbers of guests in one sitting. You will be responsible for assisting the Hotel Chef with
all aspects of his work (see above) and on at least one night each week would take full control of the kitchen.
You will be expected to assist with the cleaning of the kitchen.
Please note: that following your first interview, if successful, you would be invited to return to demonstrate your skills in the kitchen by cooking for 14 people. |
| Chalet Chef/Manager |
| Experience is essential for this role and very high quality cuisine skills are expected.
We would expect the successful applicant to have a professional cooking qualification and be comfortable with catering
for 14 to 16 people. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the chalet, the budget of the chalet, ordering
and quality control. You will be expected to assist with the cleaning of the chalet.

| Chalet Assistant |
| Whilst experience is not essential you must be prepared for hard work and long hours. You must
have excellent interpersonal relationship skills as you will form the main focal point with the guests. Your day to
day tasks will include identifying and solving client problems, liason with resort suppliers, cleaning of the chalet
and assisting the chef in the kitchen. Please note: that following your first interview, if successful, you would be invited to return to demonstrate your interpersonal skills by assisting a chef on their second interview (as above). |
| Ski Guide/Handyman/Driver |
| A full and clean driving licence as well as proven experience of mountain driving and minibus
driving is essential for the successful applicant. You should also be an experienced skier to a high standard and
capable of confidently skiing/boarding any marked piste in any conditions. You should have excellent DIY skills,
particularly plumbing and carpentry as you will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the chalets and
fixing any minor problems. Major problems will be undertaken by qualified tradesmen who you would instruct. For
this reason it would be particularly useful to have advanced french language skills. You will be responsible for
handling the airport/train transfers for Ski Power and generally ensuring that a client's first impression of the company
is excellent. There will also be midweek transfer work and your day off will be set according to work demand each week.
Please note: that successful applicants will be asked to demonstrate their knowledge of both DIY and driving skills in a practical assessment. The driving test will involve simulated ice conditions. |
| Resort Manager |
| You will need to have completed a minimum of three seasons to be successful in applying for this position. A full clean driving licence is required together with a very good working knowledge of French. The resort manager is responsible for the day to day running of the business in La Tania. With full responsibility for all sales, clients, staff management, banking & budget management. You will also be responsible for day to day contact with clients in resort, ensuring their stay is a happy and pleasant affair and dealing with any complaints that may be received. An essential part of this position is the client interaction and you will therefore need well developed interpersonal skills. |
| Nanny |
| We are looking for experienced and NNEB (or equivalent) qualified nannies to care for and look after children of all ages of clients whilst they are skiing. We will expect evidence of experience in looking after children and references and police checks will be undertaken. You can expect to be working with children on six days each week, however when we have no children in resort you will be expected to assist in the chalets as necessary. |
| Bar person |
| Experience is essential for this role and very high quality bar keeping skills are expected. We would expect the successful applicant to have extensive bar experience, including stock control, barrel changing, you will also be confident in mixing cocktails and all other drinks and have a friendly and welcoming attitude. You should be capable of speaking french to a good level. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the bar, stock control, ordering and quality control. You will be expected to assist with the cleaning of the bar. |
| Hotel Assistants/General Help |
| We are looking for a wide ranging group of people who will be asked to generally assist in the day to day running of the business. Duties will include, Plongeur (kitchen washing up), bar work, waiter/waitress and other general duties as required. From time to time staff may be asked to assist in the chalets. |
